BEST Center is made up of dedicated staff and members. This is the latest spotlight in a series about our community.
“I am a co-principal investigator at BEST Center, who looks explicitly into high-performance building operations. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. In college, I worked with the state of Wisconsin to review solar applications and energy conservation applications for schools and hospitals. After that, I received a grant to look into sustainability which landed me here at the BEST Center. All this exposure to sustainability and energy efficiency taught me that our current main energy sources are minimal and detrimental to our environment. That’s why I work with BEST Center, to improve 2-year college education in building trades by educating educators on the latest technologies in building efficiency.”
