Co-hosted by BEST Center and Lawrence Berkeley National Lab (LBNL), the 2023 Annual Institute is the premier event for faculty, students, and technical professionals aspiring to improve the knowledge and practice of high-performance building operations. This year’s theme is Advancing Building Decarbonization: Policies, Technologies, and Workforce Education. We’ll have many presentations and small roundtable discussions looking at the worlds of policy, research, industry, and education in order to:
1. Develop strategies for reducing our building operations carbon footprint while maintaining occupant comfort and health and
2. Instruct and improve the technician workforce to support decarbonization and energy conservation goals.
