Milwaukee Area Technical College: School of Technology and Applied Sciences
This course takes students through the energy auditing process. Topics include gas, electric, and water billing analysis; ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Engineers) process/levels of audits; energy analysis of savings (including Energy Star); developing the energy audit report and presenting it to clients. Actual building(s) are audited and used for students to develop reports. Students are encouraged to use a facility with which they have a connection such as their workplace.
